MARTIN were appointed as main contractor on the installation of photopoints and interpretive panels, on sites stretching from County Donegal through to County Cork. With 196 sites in total, and 26 of these on remote islands such as Gabla and Toreaigh Island, logistics and planning were crucial to the success of this scheme.
Installation of bespoke interpretative panels, corten steel signage, artwork and recessed bronze lettering; Reinstatement to include gravel, indigenous stone, precast paving and turf; supply and placement of indigenous natural stone to bespoke patterns; enabling works to include footpath construction, stone walls and the relocation of field gates and stiles; up-lighting to urban installations and associated duct work; soft landscaping to complete schemes, including grass reinstatement and shrub planting.
“Can I also take this opportunity to thank you all at MARTIN for your fantastic work on this project. The commitment and dedication (above and beyond the call of duty in many instances) was always there",
