MARTIN are currently working with Ferraris Piston Services (FPS) Distribution extending their current 30,000 ft2 by another 15,000ft2 resulting in a total of 45,000ft2 of storage space for racking. The JCT D&B contract is over a 20-week period and split into 2 phases.
Phase 1 consists of the alterations to existing car park. The new layout will result in more parking spaces along with a new entrance. Works commenced on 16th October 2017 and completed on schedule – 3rd November 2017.
Phase 2 consists of the 15,000ft2 extension to be built onto existing gable of building.
Ground floor slab level is 2 metre above existing external ground therefore retaining wall will be installed prior to Steel Portal Frame erection. Walls and roof are constructed of composite cladding system to match existing building with a Roller Shutter door installed.
